Cargill's worldwide operations, spanning 70 countries and serving 125 countries, faced inconsistent processes across regions. This prompted automation to streamline operations and reduce manual labor. Notable automations include order entry using RPA and OCR, processing 50,000 orders yearly, and deactivating over 268,000 inactive vendor records. These initiatives have not only saved significant labor costs but also transformed tasks into touchless processes. In their five-year automation journey, Cargill deployed 236 automations, enhancing efficiency and standardization across functions like Source-to-Pay and Order Entry.
