Spring Break is here, and you don’t need to travel out of state to have a great time with your friends and family. The Great Lakes State offers so much fun in our backyard. Here are some amazing ideas for staying local in your free time.

Places like Impression 5 Science Center, Air Zoo, and the Grand Rapids Public Museum are all kid-friendly museums and learning centerswhile the Detroit Institute of Art and The Henry Ford are great options for all ages. Go island hopping in Detroit while sightseeing Bell Isle! There you can visit the Bell Isle Aquarium, explore the natural wonders of the 987-acre island, check out the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, and enjoy the Museum of the Great Lakes.
