Opening soon (probably before Labor Day)
Merenda box| 801 Hector Street East, Conshohocken
The owner of ‘feine, a café in Conshohocken, is opening a Brazilian pastry shop at the former location of Pete’s Deli. It was originally slated to open earlier, however, a mid-August opening is now the goal.
Couch Tomato Cafe | 2 Harry Street, Conshohocken
The Couch Tomato announced in May 2021 that it had signed a lease for The Outbound Station building in Conshohocken. This opening has been delayed a few times, but it will probably take place in August.
Conshohocken Pizza | 1642 Butler Pike, Conshohocken
At the end of May, Conshohocken Pizza announced that it was taking over the former La Cucina spot. It comes from the people behind Blue Bell Pizza. No opening date set yet, but sooner rather than later.

Donuts Mochi Ring | 101 Fayette Street, Conshohocken
Mochi Ring Donuts, which is a regional chain, opens in the former Jimmy John’s. In addition to donuts, Korean corn dogs and bubble tea.
Coffee of the Heart | 35 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill
This cafe is going through the process in the township of Whitemarsh to be approved to open in the Shoppers World mall.
meza | Whitemarsh Shopping Center
Mezah, a fast-casual Mediterranean grill, has been approved for a Whitemarsh Mall location in 2021. An opening date hasn’t been announced, but it’s listed as “coming soon” on its website.
Former Baggataway Tavern | 31 Front Street, West Conshohocken
The owners of Jasper’s Backyard recently purchased Baggataway Tavern. Their plan for the property/restaurant is not yet known.
1874 Society | West Elm Street and Fayette Street (within SORA West)
Between the hotel under construction at the corner of West Elm Street and the historic fire station, there will be a dining experience on the first floor with an outdoor terrace that will physically connect the two buildings. The restaurant will be known as 1874 Social, in honor of the year the fire company formed on the site. An expected opening date has not been released.
Skybar hook and ladder | West Elm Street and Fayette Street (within SORA West)
The fire station, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, will also house a second-floor gastropub experience, the Hook & Ladder Skybar. An expected opening date has not been released.
Unnamed replacement of the old mansion | 641 Old Elm Street
Evan Lambert, one of the original people behind Savona at Gulph Mills, plans to renovate the Old Mansion House building and open a more upscale restaurant.
Chipotle | 550 West Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting
It’s really a move from inside the mall to an outdoor plot that once housed a bank. It will take online orders and have a pickup window.
Morning Conversation Coffee | 108 1/2 rue Fayette, Conshohocken
The owner from neighboring Chiangmai and a few associates have opened a cafe in the old confectionery. find menu here.
Our daily bagel | 301 Fayette Street, Conshohocken
Our Daily Bagel recently opened. It offers bagels from Kismet Bagels, which are all the rage in town right now, and coffee from Rival Bros.
Fayette Street Oyster House & Grill | 128 Fayette Street, Conshohocken
The man behind Pinefish in Philadelphia opened a seafood and steak restaurant in the former Tierra Caliente space in Conshohocken. It is currently open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday. Find the site here.
At Daniel’s| 16 East 1st Avenue, Conshohocken
Daniel’s recently opened in the former Lucky Dog space. It is currently open Wednesday through Sunday for dinner and Thursday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch. Find the site here.
Osaka Hibachi | 551 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill
Osaka Hibachi opened in March and is primarily a takeout place. Find the menu here.
Coffee Benefits | 1 West First Avenue (entrance is on Fayette Street)
This cafe is part of SORA West. It serves La Colombe coffee. We cannot find a website or social media pages for this.
Wing stop | Plymouth Square Shopping Centre, Conshohocken
A WingStop outpost has opened in Plymouth Square Shopping Centre.

There is a plan a new restaurant to fill what was once a pizzeria/café that primarily served campus corporate tenants. Note that this plan mainly shows what is possible and does not show an actual tenant.
Plymouth Square Shopping Center | Ridge Pike to Butler Pike, Conshohocken

the old Whitemarsh Valley Inn | 474 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill
In August, MoreThanTheCurve.com reported that the Whitemarsh Valley Inn building at 474 Germantown Pike in Lafayette Hill had been purchased by the owners of the nearby Persian Grill. At the time, the new owners had planned to open a second restaurant, but today they are looking to rent the building (see SEO).
The Plymouth Reunion Mall | 500 West Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting
There are a few dining areas available inside and along the outside of the Plymouth Meeting Mall. The most notable places are the old Elevation Burger, as well as a pad site next to Shake Shack.
